Publication Ethics

The Journal of Smart Agriculture and Environmental Technology (JOSAET) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. All authors submitting their works to the JOSAET for publication as original articles attest that the submitted works represent their authors’ contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works.

Author's Responsibilities

Authors are obligated to present an accurate account of the research performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the manuscript. The paper should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.

Reviewer's Responsibilities

Reviewers should keep all information regarding papers confidential and treat them as privileged information. Reviews should be conducted objectively, with no personal criticism of the author. Reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.

Editorial Board's Responsibilities

The editorial board has complete discretion over the acceptance or rejection of an article. Editors are responsible for the contents and overall quality of the publication. They should always be willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies when needed.

Plagiarism

No form of plagiarism is acceptable and the authors should ensure that they have written and submitted only entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others, this has been appropriately cited or quoted.
