JOSAET charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) for all accepted manuscripts. The APC covers the costs of editorial management, manuscript production, typesetting, online publication, digital preservation, and archiving. There are no submission charges.

APC Amount

The Article Processing Charge for each accepted manuscript is IDR 1,000,000 for domestic authors and USD 100 for international authors.

JOSAET does not charge any additional fees, including submission fees, editorial processing charges, language editing fees, page charges, colour charges, or other publication-related fees.

Payment Procedure

The APC is payable upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication. An invoice will be sent to the corresponding author, detailing the payment methods available.

Waiver Policy

In special circumstances, full or partial waivers or discounts may be granted at the discretion of the Editorial Team, particularly for authors with genuine financial constraints. Requests for waivers should be submitted during or immediately after manuscript submission and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Waiver requests do not influence the peer-review or editorial decision.

Withdrawal Policy

Authors are expected to carefully consider their decision before submitting a manuscript to JOSAET. A manuscript may be withdrawn without charge before it enters the peer-review process.

If the authors request withdrawal after the manuscript has entered the peer-review process, they must provide a clear reason for the withdrawal. JOSAET does not normally impose a withdrawal fee. However, authors are expected to respect the time and effort contributed by editors and reviewers and to avoid unnecessary or unethical withdrawal practices.

Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing by the corresponding author through the journal's official communication channel. The manuscript will only be considered officially withdrawn after confirmation has been issued by the Editorial Office.

Withdrawal after acceptance is strongly discouraged and will only be considered under exceptional circumstances. Any withdrawal request will be evaluated by the Editorial Team in accordance with the journal's publication ethics and editorial policies.

Refund Policy

Once the APC payment has been processed, the APC is generally non-refundable, including when authors request withdrawal after acceptance. A refund may only be considered in cases of duplicate payment, payment error, or an error attributable to JOSAET. Any eligible refund request will be evaluated by the Editorial Office on a case-by-case basis.
