Journal of Smart Agriculture and Environmental Technology (JOSAET)
The Journal of Smart Agriculture and Environmental Technology (JOSAET) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the scholarly record. When errors are identified in published articles that do not invalidate the scientific findings or conclusions, JOSAET will issue a formal correction to ensure that readers have access to accurate and transparent information.

A correction may be published when errors are identified in a published article, including but not limited to:
- Author name(s), affiliation(s), or corresponding author details.
- ORCID iD or contact information.
- Errors in tables, figures, or figure legends.
- Minor errors in numerical values or units that do not affect the interpretation of the results.
- Typographical or formatting errors that may cause misunderstanding.
- Errors in references, citations, or acknowledgements.
- Other factual inaccuracies that do not compromise the scientific validity of the article.
Corrections will not be issued for minor typographical errors that do not affect the meaning or interpretation of the article.
Requesting a Correction
Peer reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of all manuscripts.
Reviewers must not upload submitted manuscripts, figures, tables, or supplementary materials to publicly available AI platforms or generative AI systems, as doing so may violate confidentiality and intellectual property rights.
Any AI-assisted tools used by reviewers must not compromise manuscript confidentiality or influence the review process beyond language assistance.
Editorial decisions must always be based on the reviewer's independent scientific judgment.
Editorial Process
If a correction is approved:
- A formal Correction Notice (Erratum or Corrigendum) will be published in the next available issue or online as soon as possible.
- The Correction Notice will be permanently linked to the original article.
- The original article will remain available as part of the scholarly record.
- Where appropriate, the online version of the article may be updated with a note indicating that a correction has been published.</p>
Limitations
If the identified error significantly affects the reliability, validity, or integrity of the research findings, JOSAET may consider issuing an Expression of Concern or Retraction in accordance with the journal's Retraction Policy, rather than a correction.
Transparency and Integrity
JOSAET is committed to preserving the integrity of the scholarly record through transparent correction procedures. All corrections will be handled fairly, promptly, and in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
