Open Access Statement

The Journal of Smart Agriculture and Environmental Technology (JOSAET) is a fully Open Access journal, which means that all articles are freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles or use them for any other lawful purpose without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of Open Access.

The benefits of open access for authors include:

  • Free access for all users worldwide.
  • Authors retain copyright to their work.
  • Increased visibility and readership.
  • Rapid publication.
  • No spatial constraints.

Publication in JOSAET involves an article processing charge (APC) to cover the cost inherent to peer review, typesetting, editorial services, online hosting, and archiving. However, there are no submission charges.

Articles published in JOSAET are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This permits anyone to copy, redistribute, remix, transmit, and adapt the work provided the original work and source are appropriately cited, and if changes are made, they must be distributed under the same license as the original.

JOSAET provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. It makes the research available to all readers worldwide, ensures the publication of the author's work to the widest possible audience, and in doing so, increases the impact of the research.
